Suggestions

We take pride in preparing and serving the same type of food that many of your mothers and grandmothers (Busias) prepared. All the recipes we use, come from our family and from other Polish families in the area.

So while there are many traditional Polish entrees on our menu, as well as many delicious American comfort food items, for your first visit we would suggest you sample our now famous "Ski's Polish Platter".

The Platter

The Platter is a generous serving of delicious fresh kielbasa, homemade galabki (cabbage roll), chicken (the kind you get at Polish weddings) and our pan fried pierogi (your choice). It also includes mashed potatoes, gravy, our special sweet & sour cabbage (kapusta) as well as our vegetable of the day. All in all, it's a delicious way to bring back pleasant memories of the past. Smacznego!

Sweet Sauerkraut Balls

Before trying our authentic homemade "Polish Platter, you might want to try our famous "Sweet Sauerkraut Balls", they are nothing like you have ever tasted! We take sweet & sour cabbage mixed with real Polish ham, add some broth and spices and roll them in a cracker crumb mixture before they are fried to a light golden brown. These sweet sauerkraut balls are so good, they won 1st Place in the Ohio State Food Contest sponsored by the Ohio Restaurant Association.
